Next Level Horsemanship is a professionally owned and operated, full time training and boarding facility located in Port Matilda, Centre County, Pennsylvania. Conveniently only 12 miles from the Pennsylvania State University Park campus and major throughways including Interstate 99 and Route 322, Next Level Horsemanship is ideally situated and uniquely convenient to access.

Suzanne Myers, M.S., PhD (owner), is an equine professional with over 30 years of experience training and caring for horses.  When you board with Next Level Horsemanship, you can be certain that your horse is receiving the proper care and comfort it deserves.  And as a professional, Suzanne will ensure that the needs of both horses and their owners are addressed.


  • 21-stalls in 4 separate barns.  Options for housing stallions and overnight guests.
  • Indoor arena (65′ x 96′) with sand footing. Always groomed and never dusty.
  • Tack room in the indoor arena and personal storage units in each barn.
  • Wash bay
  • 330′ x 130′ outdoor arena (sand footing & dome constructed for easy draining)
  • 60′ diameter, strong, solid round pen for turnout and training
  • 5 separate, large pastures (groomed and maintained for grazing longevity)
  • 2 dry lots
  • Individual turnout options available
  • Extensive network of immediately accessible trails & easy access to both state game lands and state forest for unlimited riding pleasure (within 3 miles to entrance point)


  • In addition to pasture, horses are fed home grown or locally sourced quality grass or grass/alfalfa hay, and a premium concentrate feed (grain) from Tribute Equine Nutrition.
  • Our kind and knowledgable staff will gladly administer supplements and other necessary custom care regimens to ensure the well being of your horse.
  • Of course, stalls are cleaned daily and bedded with kiln dried shavings.
  • We help you manage the routine vaccination, deworming and farrier programs for your horse.
